(TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROADS, WANTAGE NO.47)
ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Vale of White Horse District Council has made an Order under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, the effect of which is, on the occasion of the Remembrance Day Parade on 10 November 2024, between 1) 10:45 and 11:30, 2) 10:45 and 12:00 and 3) 11:20 and 12:00, to close the roads below to all vehicular traffic:
1)

Portway.
•
Ickleton Road, at its junction with Portway to its junction with Newbury Street.
•
Newbury Street, at its junction with Ickleton Road to its junction with Church Street.
•
Ormond Road.
2)
•
Church Street, at its junction with Newbury Street to the entrance to Priory Road and Market Place.
3)
•
Newbury Street, at its junction with Market Place to the junction with Church Street.
•
Portway.
•
Mill Street.
•
Grove Street.
•
Market Place.
•
Wallingford Street.
This temporary restriction does not apply to emergency service vehicles and is subject to the discretion of a Police Officer in uniform.
