You led by example, a dignified monarch loved around the world. As a child I waved a flag at one of your visits and you were always my Queen. Rest in peace.

Your dignity, service and dedication to this country and to the Commonwealth is unrivaled and an example to us all in these turbulent times. Condolences to your family for their loss, but you are also part of the wider family of all of your subjects and we feel your passing deeply. I was privileged to have met you on more than one occasion and will treasure those memories. Rest in Peace.
