The Neighbourhood Plan has been submitted to the independent examiner and no further changes can be made by Wantage Town Council unless they are specifically recommended by the examiner. The district council is responsible for deciding whether to accept the examiner’s recommendations.
The examiner has issued a Clarification Note to better understand the reasoning behind the decisions in the Plan. The town council’s response to this will be considered alongside comments received during the Regulation 16 consultation. Based on this, the examiner will determine whether any modifications are needed to ensure the Plan meets the basic conditions. Any modifications deemed necessary will be included in the Fact Check Report issued by the examiner.
